Teaching kids & parents how their minds work

I'm Marissa Valenzuela, a certified iheart facilitator. I work with schools, small groups, and families — helping students ages 9–16 and adults build resilience, emotional awareness, and practical tools for life by understanding how their minds work.

Why Preventative Education Matters

Traditional mental health support arrives after problems have already taken root. The iheart program takes a different approach — giving young people the education they need before difficulties arise, so resilience grows naturally rather than being repaired after the fact.

The most valuable thing I learned was that even when things are bad, you can always depend on that peace inside you. It’s always there and when you slow your thinking it comes back."
